St. Paul's Church Family Retreat - May 25th to 28th 2016

posted May 15, 2016, 12:49 AM by Sandeep Sampson

Dear Brother/Sister in Christ at St. Paul's,

Following your positive feedback from the last Church Retreat, we are again organizing this year's St. Paul's Church (CNI) Family Retreat from 25th to 28th May 2016 but this time in a new venue, at the Obetel Grande Resort in Lonavala. Based on your valuable inputs from the last time, the Pastorate Committee of the Church and the Retreat Planning Committee is doing all that is possible to make this one even better. The reason for organising this time's Retreat at a hotel resort is so that there will be available better basic facilities for stay and the sessions so that it is reasonably comfortable and not stressful, especially for the seniors and ederly. Details of the facilities being provided along with details of departure and arrival to and from the Retreat is given in this month's (and also last month's) issue of the Hosanna, the Church Monthly Newsletter.

The theme this year is "The Other 6 Days". The Resource Person is Mr. Neil Vimalkumar from the Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM), Chennai and he will help us understand that our entire lives lived in the world all the days of each week is to be our worship to God--not just on Sundays but also the 'other 6 days' and so we are to be prepared as God's people for works of service in all that we do (Eph 4:12). More details are available in the attached poster.

We would like to personally invite you and your family to this Retreat. While this is a blessing to all of us, it also gives us the opportunity of getting to know each other better and truly becoming one family of St. Paul's Church. Please pass this on to your close friends who are members of our Church or regular worshipers and please encourage them to join us this time.

God bless you.

With warm regards,

Revd. Sumesh Jacob
